Logic Pro Workflow Toolkit
Ben's Toolbox is a macOS app for music production with Logic Pro. It bundles tools that make recurring studio work faster, more consistent and more controllable: bounces, exports, routing, plug-in workflows, articulations, MIDI controllers and remote surfaces.
The Mac app remains the central authority. iPad, iPhone and Stream Deck add touch controls, motion, hardware buttons and visual feedback.
Ben's Toolbox connects macOS, Stream Deck, iPad, iPhone and MIDI FX into a common workflow system. The data comes from the Mac app, the control can happen wherever it makes the most sense in the studio.
The central app controls Logic Pro, managing tools, presets, articulations, performances, scan data and the connection to all remote surfaces.
Hardware buttons for quick actions: Logic shortcuts, windows, bounces, articulation slots, Visual Helper and custom Ben's Toolbox tools.
A touch interface for articulations, grids, CC lanes, bouncer controls, custom pages and session-related remote actions.
Movement and sensors become musical control: MIDI CC, Pitch Bend, vibrato, activation gestures and motion mappings.
The MIDI FX plugin helps Ben's Toolbox report articulation and CC states in Logic more accurately and make remote feedback more reliable.
Ben's Toolbox replaces slow click paths in Logic Pro with prepared actions. It's not about a single function, but rather a studio system that makes common processes readable, repeatable and remotely controllable.
Mixes, stems, versions and deliverables can be prepared with presets, naming rules and recurring export workflows.
Plug-ins, library presets, sends, outputs and performances are scanned and made available as quick actions.
Logic articulation sets can be read, prepared and made musically controllable via iPad, Stream Deck and MIDI FX feedback.
CC lanes, velocity, Pitch Bend, expression and other MIDI edits become more accessible and can be integrated into remote workflows.
Outputs, sends, bus FX, new audio tracks, gain and fade actions can be triggered as defined workflows.
Stream Deck, iPad and iPhone access the same Mac app database and can serve as button, touch or motion controllers depending on the task.
The tool list grows with the practical requirements of Logic Pro productions. These areas form the core of the current toolbox.
